Thanks to the support and generosity of our donors, we have successfully completed the wiring for all the rooms in Father’s Haven Children’s Home. Previously, the wiring was done temporarily, posing a risk to the children as exposed wires were a safety hazard.
With the new wiring, we can now provide a safe and well-lit environment for the children. They no longer have to worry about tripping over wires or living in dimly lit rooms.
Additionally, we can now provide them with the comfort of hot showers, a luxury they had been deprived of before. This project required a total cost of $895, but the impact it has made on the children’s safety and daily lives is immeasurable.
With the completion of the plumbing project, we have transformed the bathroom facilities at Father’s Haven Children’s Home. Previously, the children were forced to share a single outside toilet, which was essentially a hole dug in the ground.
This arrangement was far from ideal and posed significant health and hygiene risks. Thanks to the donations received, we were able to install proper bathroom facilities with separate sections for boys and girls.
The addition of hot showers has brought immense relief and comfort to the children, providing them with the opportunity to cleanse themselves in a safe and hygienic manner. The total cost for this project amounted to $360, a small investment that has had a tremendous impact on the children’s well-being and dignity.
