Kenya Home

Fathers’ Haven Children’s Home, Kenya, the first of its kind, is located in Kisii County, Kenya in East Africa, and has been providing essential care to a growing number of children since 2008. The county has a high child population of 642,000, which highlights the need for more protection measures and structures to safeguard their welfare.

Our mission at Fathers’ Haven is to identify, shelter, care for, and empower these children to fulfill their God-given potential. Our Country Director, Pastor Nchaga Sagana and his wife Mary Sagana, pastors of Dominion Life Ministries International in Kenya, are committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with these children in the community.

Our vision is to have the necessary resources to reach hundreds of children in need of our help, as we strive to create a world where every individual can lead a fulfilling life.

Administrative Challenges

Some administrative challenges faced by Fathers’ Haven Children’s Home, Kenya includes:

  • Upgrading 12 Mattresses and Bedding: The lack of quality mattresses not only affect their physical well-being but also impact their emotional and mental health.

  • Completion of Toilets at the Home: The completion of these toilets will not only provide practical convenience but also restore a sense of dignity and privacy to the children’s daily lives.

  • Kitchen Repair and Stoves: By repairing the kitchen and installing proper ventilation systems, we can ensure that our kitchen heroes can continue to create meals with love and passion, free from the constraints of harmful smoke.

  • School Uniforms: Every child deserves the opportunity to walk through the school gates with confidence, dressed in a fresh and neatly pressed uniform.

  • School Fees: By investing in their education, we are investing in their futures. Let’s ensure that all 51 children can continue their educational journey each semester, allowing them to unleash their full potential and create a brighter tomorrow.

  • Acquisition of 2 Dining Tables: By procuring two additional dining tables, we aim to create a conducive environment for shared meals, promoting social interaction, and instilling a sense of belonging among the children.

  • Installation of 3 Wi-Fi Routers: By installing three Wi-Fi routers, we aim to bridge the digital divide, provide access to online resources, facilitate communication with mentors, and empower the children with valuable educational opportunities.

  • Provision of 51 Laptops: With access to laptops, the children will be able to engage in online learning, attend virtual classes, and access educational resources.

  • Ground Paving at the Orphanage: Paving the ground will minimize the risk of accidents, reduce the amount of mud brought into the living spaces, and alleviate the burden of daily laundry for the children.
